Newborn photography is how we got our start at The Bee Tree Photography and it holds a special place in our hearts. We strive to create gorgeous images to capture just how small and perfect your newborn is in those first few weeks of life. You can be certain your newborn is in safe hands in our studio. Krista has worked in healthcare as a respiratory practitioner and in early childhood education before switching to photography full time and is certified in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and is a mother of 3 herself. Specializing in dark, dramatic, and moody images, you can customize colors and props to create a unique session for you and your little one. You can select a package that includes just your newborn or add on family photographs with parents and siblings.

Newborn photography sessions are scheduled at least one month in advance (most clients book in their first trimester to reserve their tentative date) and take place when your baby is between 5 days to 3 weeks old. This date can be adjusted to due date if your newborn is born 4 weeks early or more and needs to spend time in the NICU. A $90 retainer reserves your date and the balance is due 48h before your session day.

Within 72h of your newborn photo session, you will be provided a proofing gallery with between 25-40 unedited images to select your favorites from. You may select the number of photos included in your package at no cost or you may add on as many additional digital images as you like for $25 each. Your fully edited gallery will be delivered within 2-3 weeks from your session date. Images will be delivered via download through a private online gallery. You may share a link to your gallery with friends and family for them to download as well. There are no in-person sales or pressure to purchase anything additional but you have the option to purchase prints & products through our partnering print lab with outstanding color, quality, and detail.
